Quarantini BINGO on the Rocks (Virtual Social Event)

GRHRA cordially invites you to our virtual year-end social, “Quarantini Bingo on the Rocks.”  As 2020 comes to a close, so many of us are ready to write the year off, call it a loss, wipe it from our memory, and move on to 2021. Let’s take some time to celebrate all we have been through AND have some fun!

We will kick off this event with Mixologist Ashley Billiet from 1848 Bar and Pub giving us three signature cocktails to share with family and friends over the holidays. Drinks will include both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions. Your "cocktails in a box" will include:

• Alcohol to make the two alcoholic signature drinks
• Special holiday ingredients
• Chocolate for pairing with drinks

Then, join us for BINGO and a chance to win great prizes! One BINGO card will be included in the purchase of your “cocktail in a box,” and up to two additional cards can be purchased for $5 each when you register. Amazon gift card prizes ($10, $25 and $5) will be awarded to help you with holiday shopping. (BINGO card links, as well as any additional purchased, will be distributed via email on Monday, December 7th)

Upon registering for the event, you will receive an email with a short shopping list of "off the shelf" ingredients you will want to have on hand to garnish your drinks as well as information containing a convenient location to pick up your "cocktails in a box.” Pick-up days will be the week prior to the event (Dec. 1 – 4), and the location will be one of the following:

• Pappas Wright P.C., 1617 2nd Ave, #300, Rock Island*

About the Mixologist:

Ashley Billiet is not just a bartender; she's the best Mixologist in the Midwest! With 16 years of experience in the mixologist space, "creativity" is her middle name. Previously, Ashley was selected as Iowa's top mixologist at the Iowa Restaurant Association's annual statewide competition and now serves as the owner of Pub 1848. Even though the pandemic isn't allowing business to run as usual, Ashley is still bringing her creativity to the QC area with virutal events and jumps at the opportunity to create custom drinks for all!
