Ignite HR Roundtable | Sexual Harassment of Teenage Workers (Virtual)

Join Western Illinois University for this virtual roundtable event which will focus on the important topic of sexual harassment of teenagers. 

During the event, we will...

1. Discuss the rights and responsibilities of teenage workers with regard to sexual harassment.
2. Focus on the psychological, physical, and behavioral effects on teenage victims.
3. Share legal issues including court cases involving teenagers.
4. Generate ideas for organizational actions and future research to address this phenomenon.

About the Presenter:

Dr. Susan Stewart  has over twenty five years of experience in academia and management consulting.  She earned a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and has consulted with a wide variety of organizations.  Dr. Stewart is a Professor of Human Resource Management at Western Illinois University where she teaches courses on employment law, personnel selection, performance management, compensation, leadership, and more.  She serves as faculty advisor to an award-winning student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.  She also works as an Independent Consultant where she provides training and other assistance to organizations.  Her research and publications focus on topics related to workplace aggression, which includes sexual harassment.  She recently had two paper published which address sexual harassment of teenager workers.  We look forward to hearing her insights at this roundtable.
