Ignite HR Roundtable | Creative Solutions for HR Challenges (Virtual)

During this roundtable event, Dr. Jen Palar, St. Ambrose University, will facilitate a panel discussion with Kristin Glass, President of Total Solutions, and Hana Strickler, Director of Finance & IT at Grace Technologies. Each panelist will share information on how their organizations have created new opportunities for their employees to thrive, including the barriers that they have faced and how they have led their teams to success.

About the Presenters:

Dr. Jennifer Palar has over fifteen years of experience in Human Resources and consulting at both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Her primary areas of consulting include strategic planning, workforce development, HR auditing, and labor relations. Dr. Palar also holds multiple designations including Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management. Jen is on a mission to change the way strategy and HR are taught, viewed, and valued.

Hana Strickler, Director of Finance & IT, Grace Technologies: Hana is an experienced Controller with a demonstrated history of working in the industrial automation industry. She is skilled in Internal Audit, Analytical Skills, Microsoft Word, Accounting, and Microsoft Access. She earned a Master of Accounting MACC focused in Management Information Systems, General from St. Ambrose University. Hana recently led a DisruptHR Talk on the topic of Unlimited Paid Time Off. 

Kristin Glass, President, Total Solutions: Kristin is a Quad-Cities native and St. Ambrose University graduate, a recipient of Leaders Under 40, and a graduate of the Institute for Organizational Management (IOM). Kristin serves as President of Total Solutions, an organization whose success is driven by the hardworking and passionate team that supports their clients every single day. Prior to joining Total Solutions, Kristin served as the Chief Strategy Officer at the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce. Kristin is active in the Quad CIties community and volunteers her time in service of multiple non-profit organizations.
