Speaker Bio:
Luke Rushing is a seasoned IT and cybersecurity professional with over 25 years of experience. He is passionate about using technology to improve the delivery of care and is always looking for new ways to use cybersecurity to protect employee and client data.
In his current role of 7 years as Director of IT at Vera French Community Mental Health Center, he is responsible for the overall IT infrastructure and security of the organization. He is also a member of the Tech Advisory Committee at IACP, where he helps to shape the future of cybersecurity and technology in the healthcare industry.
Luke Rushing has a bachelor’s degree with an IT Security Emphasis from Western Governor's University. Luke also serves on multiple college tech advisory committees in the Quad Cities where he helps shape the IT Security class curriculum.
