During this event, we will discuss how to identify appropriate jobs, recruit, and interview and supervise employees with Autism Spectrum Disorder

In our time together, we will:

  • Gain a better understanding of how an individual on the autism spectrum fits your workplace for successful placement.
  • Walk away from the presentation with how to cast a wider net and expand recruiting resources to include individuals with disabilities.  Do you have an “alternate front door” for individuals whom may not be comfortable applying for positions with traditional means (i.e. could an employer be unintentionally limiting a candidate).
  • Job carving:  Be inclusive of candidates that are capable of parts of a position. Learn how to consider making one position into two part-time or breakdown of duties into different positions to fit available candidates.
