Presenters:
Alex Koglin is Senior Benefits Consultant for GCG Financial, an Alera Group Company. He has nearly a decade of experience in healthcare benefits and has worked with companies ranging from a handful of employees, to over 5,000 employees across a diverse range of industries. His responsibilities include new business development, strategic playbook review, client relations, and functioning as liaison between sales and service teams.
Alex routinely works with clients to transition to alternative-funded programs, while considering the holistic employee experience. In addition, he has overseen the merger of benefit programs following multiple large-scale acquisitions. Alex leverages those opportunities to identify program improvements and substantial cost reductions.
Alex is WELCOA certified and uses his knowledge to oversee client wellbeing initiatives, keep a pulse on employee engagement, and identify employee values. Moreover, he uses his process-driven approach to identify best-practice benefits administration solutions and better leverage technology.

Jamie Honigman brings 30 years of successful experience in the human capital industry to HR inTune, an Alera Group Company. He has repeatedly demonstrated his talent for bringing out the very best to the companies for which he has provided leadership and direction. Jamie has a Master’s Degree in Human Organizational Science from Villanova University and a B.S. degree in Sociology from St. Joseph’s University. Jamie spent 15 years as a human resource executive. He spent many years in key HR positions at SmithKline Beecham. He also led HR functions for such companies as Comcast, Xerox, and TMP Worldwide. In these roles, he had the ultimate responsibility for all aspects of HR for these large, multinational firms. Since becoming a human capital consultant 20 years ago, Honigman has had leadership roles in the human resource consulting practices for Aon Consulting and CBIZ. ---------------------------------------------------------------- John Fisher, CFP®, Vice President, Wealth Services, is a passionate and dedicated member of the Alera Group team! John’s primary focus is consulting on business retirement plans like 401(k) plans, Profit Sharing plans and Deferred Compensation. In addition to retirement plans, John also works with businesses on succession planning, assisting with funding Buy/Sell Policies and Key Person Life Insurance.

John Wissman is a native Texan and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business, where he majored in Finance and Marketing. His professional experience as an Equity Trader, Advisor, Board Member, and Entrepreneur has given him a unique perspective on how to help businesses think strategically and scale successfully.
As a speaker, John has shared his advanced strategies in health and welfare topics across Texas, including the ASHHRA Symposium and multiple industry summits for financial institutions. An active member of his community, John has also served as a mentor for Minds Matter, helping underprivileged high school students gain college acceptance and attain scholarships.

Tom Schuetz is the Senior Partner of Alera Group Quad Cities. An experienced consultant, Tom specializes in improving the profitability and success of organizations. He develops and implements benefits strategies that manage cost and improve profitability.
Before joining Alera Group Quad Cities, from 1981-1990, Tom was a partner and practicing attorney specializing in corporate law, estate planning and real estate.
Tom earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Midland Lutheran College and his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law.
Tom is active in his community, having served on several community boards including United Way, Junior Achievement and the Chamber of Commerce, and volunteering with several more community organizations.
He and his wife, Becky, have 4 children and three grandchildren. He enjoys any sport (especially Nebraska football), regular exercise, reading a good book and hanging out with his family and admiring their accomplishments.
