Certificate Program OpportunitY Through the SHRM Foundation

The SHRM Foundation's mission is to mobilize the power of HR and activate the generosity of donors to lead positive social change impacting all things work. The Foundation is committed to elevating and empowering HR as a social force through its innovative solutions to workplace inclusion challenges, programming designed to inspire and empower the next generation of HR leaders, and awarding scholarships and professional development grants to educate and develop students and HR professionals. 


GRHRA supports the mission of the SHRM Foundation and would like to make you aware of three initiatives currently being offered to earn work certificates. (Please be advised, you do NOT need to be a SHRM member to take advantage of these opportunities.) Take a look at the below opportunities: 


 1. Certificate - Getting Talent Back to Work

Description: The SHRM Foundation Getting Talent Back to Work certificate program–developed for HR professionals, hiring managers, and front-line supervisors–is a multi-faceted program from the SHRM Foundation and brought to you with generous support from the Lumina Foundation. This program is specifically designed to equip you with the actionable knowledge and tools needed to attract, hire, and retain individuals with criminal and conviction records. 2. Veterans at Work Certificate Program

Description: The SHRM Foundation Veterans at Work Certificate program, generously supported by Comcast NBCUniversal, was developed by the SHRM Foundation for HR professionals and business leaders. This course leverages critical insights from subject matter experts and the latest research to equip you with the knowledge and actionable tools necessary to confidently adapt your workplace into one that attracts, hires, and retains both veterans and members of the military community. 3. Mental Health Ally Certificate

Description: 76% of people believe companies should do more to support the mental health of their workforce. Mental health is a key factor in personal and professional workplace satisfaction. Unfortunately, it is often overlooked as a priority because of its pervasive, negative stigma. As a HR professional, people manager, or business leader, you have a unique position to lead the effort in supporting employee mental health in the workplace and fostering culture that encourages open conversations around mental health. Earning your Workplace Mental Health Ally Certificate is a great way to start. The Workplace Mental Health Ally Certificate was created with engaging learning experiences designed in the ideal format for each learning style to promote meaningful education and engagement. The entire Workplace Mental Health Ally Certificate series is available for $99 a year, per person.
