Sarah Stevens is the Executive Director at Lead(h)er, a grassroots nonprofit that connects women with experienced leaders to fuel their career and community engagement. Sarah came to Lead(h)er after a decade long career in corporate healthcare where she held multiple leadership positions including Director of Genesis Health Group and Director of Outpatient Services for the health system. In February of 2016, Sarah chose to leave her position with Genesis in order to pursue work that better aligned with her sense of passion and purpose. She determined that the position with Lead(h)er would provide the perfect opportunity to utilize her background in operational leadership to create a strong, positive impact on the community, and it turns out that she and Lead(h)er were a perfect match.
When Sarah isn’t making mentoring matches in the community, she can usually be found spending time with her family, practicing a little yoga in local studios, or walking the streets of Rock Island where she lives with her spouse and three children.

Her most significant accomplishments were serving on the design/build teams for both the John Deere Pavilion and the John Deere Collectors Center. She also served as a consultant to the management team that opened the John Deere Forum in Mannheim Germany.
LuAnn has been married to her husband, Kirk, for 46 years and they have one son, Brent, who is employed as an Attorney and Compliance Director here in the Quad Cities. Her interests include gardening, travel, art and volunteering in her community.
LuAnn is presently working with several local non-profit boards on board training, development, strategic planning and mentoring and has a great amount of experience serving on local boards and committees in our community.
