Objective:  To inform employers of the problems that we frequently encounter regarding compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Family Medical Leave Act.  Areas of focus will involve informing employers what steps they can take to protect their company and stay in compliance.

Bio:  JR Schemmel has been with the Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division for over 20 years.  He has been technical assistant and investigator working out of the Cedar Rapids office.  He has done many speeches regarding FLSA and FMLA.  He graduated from Grandview College with a major in Criminal Justice.
