To help us pump our personal performance, we have invited a Zumba instructor to give us a demonstration of the technique. Bettina Bolger, owner and founder of Salsa Touch, has been dancing “street style” salsa since she was a child in Venezuela. Her formal dance training began 16 years ago when she began taking salsa lessons in Chicago.  In 2005 she began studying competitive ballroom dancing, and continues to take weekly ballroom lessons at Fred Astaire Quad Cities.  She has won several amateur and ProAm championships since she began competing in 2006. In 2008 Bettinna began teaching salsa formally at Golds Gym. As she quickly developed a following, she began training with professional  dancers Ralph and Rachel Irizzary from Salsa Heat Orlando  every other month. Bettinna has attended salsa congresses across the United States.

Dress a little casual if you wish so you can participate in a Zumba demonstration. Each person that attends will receive a small gift to kick off the new year.
