Government Affairs Committee

Do you like keeping current with state and federal laws that affect your role as an HR professional? The Government Affairs Committee communicates timely information of interest to the organization regarding government action, legal topics, or pending legislation. Ideally it would be great to have several people on this committee to maintain awareness of legislative activities and it would be even better if we had some members who work in Iowa and some who work in Illinois. (Government Affairs is part of SHRM's core leadership areas....CLA).
