Great River Human Resource Association believes in its members building upon their foundation of HR knowledge, and provides our members with opportunities to become a certified HR Professional through the HR Certification Institute. Formal and informal study groups prepare members to sit for the certification exam to certify as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR). What a great way to meet others who are committed to increasing their value as HR professionals!

Additionally, the certification chair serves as a resource for questions regarding certification and for proactively communicating the re-certification program for newly certified members.

GRHRA members continue learning by attending monthly meetings where professionals in HR speak about various HR topics. Most subjects are pre-certified through HRCI, giving our members continuing education credits while keeping abreast in all human resource issues.
